Poll: Did you pass on the Epic 4G because of its price?

iPhone 4, EVO 4G, BlackBerry Torch 9800, and DROID Incredible.  What do they have in common?  Price.  $199.99 has been the unofficial high-end smartphone price point for some time now, so when the Samsung Epic 4G launched at $249.99 (after a $100 mail-in rebate, mind you), I was surprised.  While an additional $50 doesn’t seem like a huge increase in the scheme of things, I’m wondering whether the higher price point will discourage users from purchasing over other alternatives on the market.

As always, I pass along to you.  Were you considering the Samsung Epic 4G, only to be discouraged by the price point?  Cast your vote in the poll, and hit the comments section with your thoughts!
